LONDONCollections: Men begins this weekend and promises to be evenbigger than its hugely successful debut event in June last year.With AlexanderMcQueen and TomFord joining the line-up this season, the three-day-longschedule will doubtlessly strengthen London's reputation as a hubof leading menswear design talent.
The proceedings start on Sunday evening with two private partieshosted by Harvey Nichols and Duchamps respectively, before theshows get underway on Monday when Lou Dalton, OrlebarBrown, Topmanand Lee Roach will take to the catwalk. Later wholesale jordans shoes that afternoon, Man,the Fashion East installations, MeadhamKirchhoff and RichardNicoll will take centre stage, followed by the official LC: Mlaunch event that evening - sure to be attended by the toast of thecapital's menswear fashion scene. Members of the fashion pack willthen head to The Arts Club, where LiamGallagher will host a presentation to showcase his latestcollection under his Pretty Greenlabel, or to TommyHilfiger's exclusive soirée.
Tuesday starts with Burberry,followed by Nicole Farhi,MargaretHowell, JonathanSaunders and ChristopherShannon, while the best of Savile Row and VivienneWestwood get set to show in the afternoon. The day's big ticketwill undeniably be AlexanderMcQueen, a brand which has put a renewed focus on menswearsince opening a boutique kobe bryant shoes on Savile Row last year.
The final day of shows begins with ChristopherRaeburn and JW Anderson,and Tom Ford.Other highlights include ChristopherKane, ETautz, HardyAmies and Katie Eary.
The schedule will finally finish with two very stylish events -an intimate dinner hosted by GQ editor and LC: M chair Dylan Jones,rapper TinieTempah and Sir Paul Smith. TomFord will close the line-up with a private party, which is expectedto be attended by London's most dapper high-profile gentlemen.
